Hispanic Heritage Month

Yesterday marked the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month! This years theme is "Heritage, Diversity, Integrity and Honor: The Renewed Hope of America." According to Wikipedia, Hispanic Heritage Month "is the period when people recognize the contributions of Hispanic Americans to the United States and to celebrate Hispanic heritage and culture."

Use http://www.hispanicheritagemonth.gov/ as a resource to find out more about National Hispanic Heritage Month. I also encourage you to check your local listings for events happening between now and October 15th.

Happy Learning!
